ICF Maryland Website Overhaul

ICF Maryland, one of more than 140 chapters of the International Coaching Federation, was just getting by with its 10+ year old website. It provided basic functions to chapter members, but volunteer leaders didn’t feel comfortable using it as a marketing tool. By conducting a comprehensive set of interviews with stakeholders, collaborating with the platform vendor to maximize capabilities, and building on existing knowledge of the coaching profession, we created an entirely new web presence for the otherwise flourishing chapter. Now, the website complements the chapter’s strengths and enables aspiring coaches, potential partners, and current members to engage in new and deeper ways.

Services provided: project management, copywriting, strategy

Visual continuity was created from page to page by using banner images. As much as possible, images of actual chapter members were used, rather than stock photos, to create a strong sense of community and belonging.
